Press both in America and Europe have published articles on the issue with quotes from wildlife and nature associations around the world. Representatives of the Icelandic Foreign Ministry met with all the Ambassadors in Iceland yesterday to present Iceland's view on the mater. Both the British and US Ambassadors announced their respective countries strong disapproval of whaling. The only positive responses were from the Greenlandic government and from the Arctic Union. The BBC website had a poll on the matter. Icelandic whaling vessel Hvalur 9 left on a hunting trip this morning and is still at sea.
